The University of Zurich’s School Dental Clinic impressively combines graphic design with architecture and art. Fabian Stähelin’s design invites children to explore and creates a warm, friendly atmosphere in the treatment rooms. A diverse animal kingdom has been brought to life on sandstone film, much like in a hidden object book. Using the print-and-cut technique, large, lovingly designed glass surfaces have been created – a successful example of how technology can enrich functional architecture.
