My God what a museum… was the wording of Christoph Klingan about the Diözesanmuseum Freising at its reopening in October 2022. Breathtaking luminous ceilings with a width of 5m and a length of up to 25m set the scene for the Christian artworks and transform every room into a place of power.
Honored with the Architecture Award for Light.
The Diözesanmuseum project in Freising was awarded the Platinum Architecture Award for Light. Christian Gmeiner from Typico accepted the award together with Zumtobel Group colleagues Daniel Flatz, Bernd Schmid and Volker Hartmetz.
